We're Back!

Friends -

This note has been in the making for nearly 2 years.

Everyone knows the past 24 months have been a challenge to deal with for all of us. As a collective group of communications professionals we’ve had our hands full managing our own work life balance. Back in 2020 we made the decision to focus on our own world before considering how we could safely bring back SMCKC.

Now the time has come for us to pick up where we left off in the spring of 2020. With a reinvigorated SMCKC board we’re ready to start programming again for our membership. We’re ready to continue a decades-long tradition of providing quality education, networking and camaraderie.

As YOU are the most important part of SMCKC we’re asking for your assistance as we get things kicked off this spring:

  1. Click here for a brief membership survey (Your thoughts are much appreciated and will guide our future activities).

  2. Join us for our first gathering of 2022 - Grab a drink and meet your SMCKC Board members at our Spring Happy Hour April 21 (Save the date: more details soon).

  3. Be sure you are following SMCKC on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn + Instagram (that’s where we’ll release information about future programming in addition to our monthly emails).

  4. Forward this email to a friend or colleague: Coming to SMCKC is even more fun when you have someone to share it with.

We look forward to providing you more updates as we get closer to our educational events later this spring. In the meantime, let us know if you have suggestions for speakers, topics, or locations. Our volunteer board is always looking for suggestions (and more volunteers too).

Cheers,

Brian Mercer, Vice President
